The Barber Shop’s professional barber Melanie Shope, will bring fun old fashioned barbering with a feminine twist to Gent!’s Barber Battle on Saturday Feb. 18 at The Ready Room.

Shope gets inspiration from music, her students and even exercise!

She believes that a gentleman’s style should be low maintenance.

“Men want sexy/sophisticated but also EASY! I make sure they can replicate at home what I do on the shop,” she said.

Pompadour, hard parts and designs are some of the styles she’s worked on.  About participating for the first time on the Gent!’s Barber Battle she said:

“I am pumped!”
