Gent! to expand for a week on 2018.
Men's Fashion Week 2018 was announced during Gent! last Thursday Feb.16, after Brainchild Events CEO and founder, Dwight Carter, took the microphone before kicking off the show at Mungenast Lexus of St. Louis.
Soon after, the 2017 Lexus GS F made its way along the runway surprising around 300 attendees; who delighted their eyes with unique designs from five well recognized Midwest designers including Marcel Coleman Jr., Loyal Collective, SKIF International. Christian Micheal and Paulie Gibson.
Marcel Coleman Jr. inaugurated the runway with his dyed denim unisex designs.
Loyal Collective brought up a mixture of biker and streetwear; as well as a tan leatherbag that caught everyone's attention.
The show kept going with SKIF's Happy Circle and its expressive and comfortable collection for men and little man.
Gent! veteran Christian Micheal dressed his gents to impress with his diamond quilted 2017 Fall and Winter Men's collection made mostly with natural materials; which he describes as a "mix of neutrals color blocking".
Last but not least, Paulie Gibson mesmerized everyone with his nude colors collection, which he described as "bare".
A percentage of the proceeds from Gent! were for the benefit of Stevens - Institute of Business and Arts Scholarship Fund.
