And the Winner Is…

July 30th, 8:30 pm – The drop of a sewing needle could echo through the building like a canon. The nerves were high as the judges deliberated in the back room for what felt like an eternity. As time went on, the designers and models held their breath and made their way back to the main stage for the announcement.

“And the winner of Fashion Anarchy is…”

Just moments before the big reveal, Trhonda Edwards exuded confidence and calm. In only 48 hours, she created something to be proud of, and to her that was enough.

Three… Two… One… “Trhonda Edwards!”

A huge sigh of relief exhaled from her body; all of the trials and tribulations leading up to the challenge faded away. For so long, she had searched for who she was as a designer, and in this moment, when she was crowned the winner, her talent was recognized. Trhonda explains this as “truly an out of body experience.”

Trhonda will move on to the finale in November where she will create an entirely new look in only 48 hours. What can we expect from her at this event? Well, we can expect “DRAMA & POWER. My brand aesthetic is all about showing the power of women first in the most unconventional ways. I don’t want to show just technique, I want to create a story that transcends and a look that women can see themselves in. I want to bring you not only the wearable aspect of my design, but also the WOW factor.”
