Emerging designers sought for Brainchild Events' Pins & Needles design competition

Brainchild Events is seeking emerging fashion designers to submit designs for the 2017 Pins & Needles showcase, to be held in August 10th 2017 at The Majorette.
The Pins and Needles competition was created in 2006 to find the best new emerging fashion designers and to provide a high profile launching pad for their careers. Designers of all experience levels - whether currently completing their degree, recently graduated, working on their first collection or preparing for their first market - are invited to submit.
The competition offers emerging designers the opportunity to be showcased in this high profile event, to develop a support system, and recognize their originality through a competitive experience. The competition supports the creativity, innovation and artistry of new designers by giving them the exposure, experience and tools they need to take their collections from runway to retail.
Brainchild Events sees fashion as art that both influences and is influenced by the powerful cross currents of music, contemporary culture, history, street culture, fine art, illustration, architecture, graphic design, performance art and dance.
QUALIFICATIONS
Must have at least 1 to 3 years of experience.
HOW IT WORKS
Submissions will start April 1, and end May 12, 2017. Any submission sent after May 12th will not be accepted. Voting on social media will narrow the field of participants and a panel of experts in the field of fashion design will select the final designers to participate in the August event. The top 6 designers chosen by our panel will be announced May 29th. These top 6 designers will be given the opportunity to compete in the Pins and Needles Fashion Show in St. Louis on August 10th.
PRIZES
The Winner will receive a prize package worth up to $15,000!
